We are seeking talented Full-Time Mental Health Intake Specialist to join our team! Position Summary: Completes mental health screenings for inpatient psychiatric admission. Receives and responds to call inquiries for potential admissions and generalized questions. Obtains the required information to facilitate mental health admissions. Makes referrals for persons who are not appropriate for admission. Completes pre-authorization of services. Welcomes patient(s) and completes paperwork upon arrival to mental health facility. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Bachelor's Degree preferred Certifications/Licenses: CPI/CPR per policy. Current licensure or certification, preferred, by discipline. Experience: Mental health screenings and mental health experience preferred. Experience with crisis management or intake preferred.
