Description KVCAP’s Transportation Program has an opening for an Intake Specialist position in Waterville. Responsibilities: Using the Agency phone system, answering calls in a timely and professional manner. Process real time cancelations. Receives client requests for transportation and inputs clients schedule information with correct coding. Perform a variety of office tasks including typing, filing and copying. Provides excellent customer service and information pertaining to all aspects of the program. Communicates with drivers over a two-way radio and/or cell phone in an accurate, professional and timely manner. Requirements One year related experience and/or at least two years of office work involving customer service. Knowledge of office procedures and use of office machines. Good interpersonal skills with willingness to help clients and coworkers in a fast paced environment. Ability to work as a team and multitask in a fast pace environment. Ability to pass DMV, State Bureau of Investigation, Department of Health & Human Services, Sex Offender Registry and fraud background checks. Preferred Requirements: Previous experience in dispatching by telephone and/or two-way radio. Knowledge of Kennebec and Somerset Counties and surrounding areas. Familiarity in using computer data base or software for scheduling transportation.
