THE OPPORTUNITY

Boeing Defence Australia is one of the largest Defence contractors to the Australian government.
We are seeking an Integrated Logistic Support Officer for a role like no other. Working in a high security environment, you will be will performing a variety of logistic and supply chain duties to ensure the sustained operation and serviceability of telecommunications infrastructure, plant, and equipment at our Darwin Site.
You will be making a meaningful contribution in supporting the capabilities of our National Security Community customer, the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD).

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience in: procurement, supply chain processes and use of enterprise asset management and/or supply chain processing systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in asset and/or inventory management from procurement through to disposal, including movement tracking and record keeping, stock-taking, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience with use of Manual Handling Equipment & Warehouse operations.
  • Possess a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to use initiative, prioritise and work within defined timeframes.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment with internal and customer stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to WH&S and workplace diversity.

Responsibilities
  • Perform duties including; ensure availability of spare parts, material requirements, sourcing material, warehouse receipt, inspection and dispatch.
  • Undertake regular stock-takes of inventory and assets, producing detailed reports on current holdings.
  • Maintain the customer assets register using asset management systems and ensure configuration item information is accurately maintained.
  • Undertake administrative tasks ensure the customer systems and BDA ERP system are managed in accordance with BDA and CoA logistics policies and procedures.
