Job Title: Integrated Maintenance Solution (IMS) Delivery and Continuous Improvement (DCI) Manager Salary: Competitive Location: Taif, Saudi Arabia JOB PURPOSE BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons. The IMS DCI Manager facilitates day-to-day liaison across the Maintenance, Supply, Support and Communications organisations to ensure the IMS capability supports the Prime Contractor (PC) and RSAF Customer’s Typhoon Fleet. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES · Ensure compliance with governance requirements of applicable M&CA Mandates and the Operational Framework including: ITAR, LCM, planning, monitoring, change control, control of budgets and reporting of the Salam Operations contract performance to meet both customer and business requirements · Ensure effective management of Safety, SHE and Quality Assurance across all IMS related activities · Propose how the IMS capability and service delivery should be appropriately reflected in the GSS Management Plan, Salam’s Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE), Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME) and Flying Organisation Exposition (FOE) · Support M&CA governance activities such as IMS JD/tag reviews, development of an IMS competence framework, IMS competence assessments, IMS recruitment and M&CA audits · Support the UK capability delivery teams, in terms of local support, RSAF engagement and adherence to Salam Information Management Governance · Understand the Internal Business Plan (IBP), how the IBP achieves Business objectives and convey to the team how their respective roles align with the IBP · Ensure the IMS team possesses the required resources and capabilities to effectively deliver the IMS Administration Service · Ensure the programmed delivery of all IMS software upgrades are embodied and accepted as required by the Maintenance Function and agreed with the RSAF customer, liaising with key business partners where necessary · Provide business reporting of IMS performance against requirements in the Salam contract, covering all aspects of the IMS Administration Service · Oversee the development of local stakeholder networks by IMS Administrators, including RSAF Squadron Commanders, IMS and other deployed application leads across all RSAF or Service Delivery locations · Establish and maintain a network of key stakeholders across BAES SA, Salam, design organisations, customer, suppliers, government and partner organisations · Sustain and improve RSAF Typhoon IMS business through meeting customer requirements, exceeding customer expectations, addressing audit findings, · adopting IMS leading practise and identifying new business opportunities · Represent the IMS area of operations at both Senior Company and Customer events and reviews RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION · Hold an NVQ5/BTEC/HND or Degree in a relevant technical or computer science discipline, acceptable to M&CA · Extensive relevant work experience in aircraft maintenance · Previous experience in a relevant management role · Exposure to the Integrated Maintenance Solution · Have a Practitioner level of knowledge of Continuing Airworthiness · Past history of aircraft operation environments and the aircraft weapon system · Management and Leadership experience, ideally gained in the defence aviation domain Desirable · Knowledge of BAES Saudi Arabia and the Royal Saudi Air Force · Broad aerospace and defence company / industry knowledge · Aircraft operational and/or maintenance data management experience · Chartered Engineer with Membership of an appropriate professional institute such as Saudi Council of Engineers, Royal Aeronautical Society or Institute of Engineering & Technology EXPATRIATE EMPLOYEE BENEFITS In return for the required high levels of commitment and hard work you will receive a competitive salary, rent free accommodation and access to free recreation facilities, all available within Company secured accommodation.
