JOB DESCRIPTION

The Integrated Marketing Planning, Manager, Everyday Advice Journey - Account Management, is a key team member in steering complex targeted marketing initiatives delivering business growth across chequing and savings products. Experience in targeted campaigns through own channels is required. This role requires a strategic mindset, creative expertise, and the ability to lead cross-functional marketing teams to deliver all elements of campaigns, including targeted and channel marketing, effectively and independently.

Reporting to the Senior Group Marketing Manager, Everyday Advice Journey, the IMP Manager acts as a highly seasoned professional within their own area of specialty, leading cross-functional teams and managing the development and execution of marketing plans and programs by designing and delivering marketing solutions consistent with TD’s marketing standards and strategies.

  • Marketing Strategies and Plans: Understand market and growth drivers, contribute to a vision of market, channel, innovation, and segment potential, help to develop value propositions and proof points that further our competitive advantage, and translate business strategies into marketing plans.
  • Program Specific Strategies : Build strong strategies for complex targeted programs. Understand and be able to leverage owned channels to build an omnichannel customer experience.
  • Deliver and Monitor Results: Ensure stated objectives are delivered on plan and analyzes past results and makes recommendations to maximize ROI. Evaluate effectiveness of market activity and effectively communicate the results.
  • Consumer Insights and Trends: Leverage market research and apply customer insights to marketing campaigns/programs. Understand the industry, competition and the factors that differentiate the organization.
  • Build and Protect the Brand: Ensure campaigns support the brand and are designed for a positive customer experience. Understand customer journeys and supports the business to deliver the brand through customer experience.
  • Analysis and Problem Solving: Help to define the problem to solve, engages stakeholders from different groups to gather data and draws insights from it. Leverage data combined with judgment and intuition to make recommendations and drive action.
  • Influencing and relationship management: Build and manage strong relationships with Business Units, Marketing Partners, Legal and Compliance, and other internal teams to deliver effective marketing programs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required.
  • Over 7 years of relevant Marketing experience, with a strong background / knowledge of building full funnel strategies and 1:1 targeted experience.
  • A self-motivator with excellent organizational and communications skills to influence, prioritize and multi-task in a collaborative or independent setting.
  • Advanced knowledge of multiple marketing principles and disciplines, strategy development, consulting principles, lines of businesses supported, and product/customer markets and proven ability to drive business results.
  • Experienced in relationship management, work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions including internal partners.
  • Budget and Project Management: Manage projects in the most effective way (on time, on target, on budget) from initiation to completion. Coordinate multi-functional teams through the project. Track and manage budget against plan, meeting all financial reporting requirements.
