THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a talented Integrated Planning & Scheduling Specialistto join the Wakulda program in delivering a world class network-centric ground-based air surveillance and control system, which supports surveillance and air battlespace management missions. The role is based in Brisbane.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong negotiation, communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in Project Management or Project Scheduling/Earned Value/Performance Management Systems in a commercial environment
  • Understanding of critical path analysis
  • Ability to tailor information and data for presentation to various stakeholders and levels of management
  • Experience in MS Excel and Visio
  • Prior experience with Open Plan Professional (OPP), Cobra and the Defence Industry will be advantageous but not critical, and
  • Applicants must be an Australian citizen to be able to gain Defence security requirements

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports preparation, development and maintenance of program High Level Flows to meet program requirements.
  • Supports the maintenance of complex integrated project plans and detailed schedules to meet project requirements.
  • Gain schedule status updates from control account managers, create reporting metrics and actively manage baseline change activities across the lifecycle of a project.
  • Assists the analysis and reporting of project performance variances and incorporate recovery plans.
