Description
Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia’s future. Downer Professional Services comprises of three business units our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice, and Team Downer, which partners with CASG and NSSG as a major service provider to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for clients across Defence and National Security. We currently have an opportunity for an Integrated Product Support Analyst in Melbourne to work on MLF projects. What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key role responsibilities including: Develop, maintain, and govern ILS/IPS and PSM processes, including updating guidance and ensuring alignment with ODCS requirements. Manage and uplift PSM‑owned BMS content, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency with IPS and ODCS frameworks. Review, update, and enhance the Product Support Manual, providing endorsement, quality assurance, and targeted uplift activities. Provide user support and subject‑matter guidance on ILS/IPS/PSM matters (e.g., via AskML) and contribute to Defence logistics policy and harmonisation efforts. Rewrite and uplift key IPS artefacts and framework documents, including the Support & Test Equipment Lifecycle Framework, while engaging with the CASG QMS team to support documentation and BMS activities. What You’ll Bring Uplift and align all identified documents, BMS content, training material, and ASDEFCON artefacts to the IPS elements approach derived from SSCCs. Resolve AskML queries, providing accurate, timely guidance on ILS/IPS/PSM matters. Contribute to DLN policy development and harmonisation, including documented inputs to DLMS/DLDA activities. Update the Support & Test Equipment Lifecycle Framework, ensuring alignment with the new ODCS and IPS Manuals. Uplift and quality‑assure PSM/IPS processes, guidance, and controlled documents, including full traceability against rescinded DEFLOGMAN and ESCM content. Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimum Baseline or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
