Responsibilities

The Interated Safety Response (ISR) Coordinator is a key member of the Child and Youth Health Team within Health New Zealand - South Canterbury and works in collaboration with local clinical and service areas, along with professional colleagues in other government and non-government agencies.
The ISR is a multi-agency response to Police-attended incidences of family violence. It brings together Police, Oranga Tamariki, the Department of Corrections, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Social Development, Ministry of Education, other health districts, local iwi, specialist family violence non-government organisations and kaupapa Maori services, to support victims and their families.
