THE ROLE
We’re looking for a motivated and forward-thinking individual to join our Integrated Workforce Team in Mid Wales. As an Integrated Workforce Supervisor, you’ll take a hands-on lead in delivering vital maintenance and construction work that protects communities from flood risk and helps strengthen our natural infrastructure.
This is a dynamic and varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll manage the planning, coordination, and delivery of essential works-ranging from flood defence maintenance to small and medium-sized construction projects. Your work will have a direct impact on the safety and resilience of communities across the region.
You’ll work closely with contractors and field teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Health and safety is at the core of everything we do, so you’ll champion best practice, issue site safety documentation, and deliver toolbox talks to ensure everyone is protected on the job.
Acting as a project manager, you’ll oversee works valued up to £250k, ensuring compliance with Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. You’ll also lead on highway works and take on the important role of Appointed Person for lifting operations-ensuring all equipment meets safety standards and all lifting activities are carried out safely and legally.
The role also includes budget management, environmental protection responsibilities, and emergency response coordination. Whether you’re responding to flood incidents, supporting environmental recovery efforts, or maintaining our vital assets, your work will make a real difference on the ground.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with practical civil engineering knowledge, experience in managing people and contractors, and a strong grasp of health and safety legislation. If you’re ready to step up and lead important infrastructure projects that support communities and the environment, we’d love to hear from you.
