ACHIEVEMENTS AND STIMULATING CHALLENGES :

The Custom Systems Integration team is looking for an ambitious systems integrator who will contribute to the company’s success. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills (English), good organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic work team. This is an excellent position for a self-starter who is looking for a challenge.
Reporting to the Systems Integration Team Leader, and working in collaboration with the company’s various departments, you will participate in the design of electrical and software solutions integrating the company’s own products, those of third-party companies, and those of customers. Our team’s end products are complete, tailor-made test solutions enabling our customers to validate the hardware and embedded designs of their control systems. Examples of projects you’ll be working on include test benches for aircraft engine control solutions, control of 100% electric or hybrid solutions in wheeled vehicles, and control of electrical power distribution microgrids.
We’re looking for someone with a passion for electricity, electronics and renewable energies.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Education :Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, software engineering or computer science (or equivalent education and experience).
  • Experience : 3 to 5 years (ideally) of experience in the field. Relevant experience in electronics and signals, relevant experience in specifications analysis, relevant experience in programming. Project management and estimating experience an asset.
  • Knowledge :MATLAB/Simulink, NI LabVIEW (asset), Microsoft Office, IGE-XAO SEE Electrical Expert (asset), NI VeriStand (asset), knowledge of FPGA technology (asset).
  • Language skills :French mandatory. Good knowledge of English is required for reading specialized/scientific works not available in French. as well as to communicate with English speaking customers.
  • Personal skills :Autonomy, good interpersonal skills, flexibility and adaptability, analytical skills, rigor, determination, customer satisfaction, concern for quality of work, ability to work in a team and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
  • Design electrical and electronic solutions integrating existing OPAL-RT and National Instrument products according to customer needs and criteria.
  • Design MATLAB/Simulink models according to customer needs and criteria.
  • Design VeriStand/LabVIEW models according to customer needs and criteria.
  • Generate embedded programs on FPGA - on Simulink.
  • Prepare technical documentation for solutions and models, including B.O.M. and technical drawings.
  • Participate in design reviews.
  • Design test procedures for developed solutions.
  • Debug systems and models.
  • Install systems at customer sites worldwide.
  • Design basic electronic circuits.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of team processes and procedures.
