The Integration Analyst II is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability across enterprise applications. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, implement integration workflows, create and manage APIs, maintain the API Management (APIM) environment, and troubleshoot issues to support business operations. Additionally, the Integration Analyst II serves as a backup for the Database Administrator (DBA), requiring strong SQL knowledge to support database operations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in system integration, API development, or a related role, with hands-on experience managing APIM environments and supporting database operations.

  • Proficiency in integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Celigo, Apache Camel, or similar).
  • Strong experience with API development (REST, SOAP), JSON, XML, and data transformation techniques.
  • Expertise in API Management platforms (e.g., Azure APIM, AWS API Gateway, Apigee, or similar).
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, including query optimization, stored procedures, triggers, and database schema design.
  • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for automation.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus

Travel: 0-10%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Integration Design & Development: Develop and implement integration solutions using APIs, middleware, ETL tools, and custom scripts to connect disparate systems.
  • API Development: Design, develop, and test APIs (REST, SOAP) to enable secure and efficient communication between systems and applications.
  • APIM Environment Management: Maintain and optimize the API Management (APIM) environment, including configuring gateways, policies, and security settings to ensure performance and compliance.
  • Database Support: Act as a backup for the DBA, performing tasks such as writing and optimizing SQL queries, managing database performance, and assisting with backups, restores, and schema changes.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve integration, API, and database-related issues, providing timely support to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for integration processes, API specifications, APIM configurations, SQL scripts, and database procedures.
  • Testing & Validation: Conduct testing of integration solutions, APIs, and database operations to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with specifications.
  • Collaboration: Work with developers, system administrators, DBAs, and business analysts to support system enhancements, API deployments, database maintenance, and new integrations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize integration processes, API performance, APIM operations, and database efficiency, implementing best practices.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
