The Integration Architect is a strategic lead responsible for defining the overarching vision, standards, and framework for the organization’s ecosystem. This role ensures that the integration infrastructure is scalable, secure, and aligned with long-term business goals, overseeing the entire lifecycle of middleware platforms and data exchange strategies. Key Responsibilities Architectural Strategy & Vision: Define the enterprise integration roadmap, selecting appropriate middleware platforms (ESB, iPaaS, API Management) to support future growth. Standardization & Governance: Establish best practices for data exchange, including naming conventions, reusable patterns, and security frameworks (HIPAA, SOC2). Stakeholder Leadership: Partner with executive leadership and Department Heads to align technical capabilities with clinical and business outcomes. Platform Selection & Evaluation: Lead RFP processes for new integration tools and conduct Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) for build vs. buy decisions. High-Level Design (HLD): Create conceptual and logical diagrams for complex, multi-system migrations and cloud-hybrid ecosystems. Mentorship & Quality Assurance: Provide technical oversight to the Engineering team, conducting code and design reviews to ensure adherence to the architectural blueprint. Reporting: Reports to the Enterprise Architect Lead for Integration and Application
