THE OPPORTUNITY:

Business Analyst serves as a liaison between the Business and IT to support successful delivery of system integration project for Travel Insurance business, provide solutions to the business system needs, and cover a range of topics from process simplification, solution troubleshoot, whilst ensuring compliance on the SDLC process.
Working within our Business Transformation team, you will have an opportunity to further develop your analytical skillset, working with like-minded colleagues in a supportive environment to build our collective delivery capability.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 2 – 5 years of practical experience in the delivery of Business Analysis artefacts (eg as-is analysis, use case, process design, functional specification, UAT, etc.) on business and IT change projects, preferably in the Travel insurance industry.
  • Good understanding of Finance Operations workflow.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and manage cross-functional and global teams.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and adaptable
  • Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Committed to continuous development of technical and soft skills to grow and excel as an all-rounded Business Analyst and Project Manager.
Responsibilities
  • Provide business analysis support within the Finance workstream, while also providing expertise to support additional workstreams as required by project needs and organizational priorities
  • Assess current systems and workflows to identify integration opportunities and address any gaps
  • Develop use cases, and option-impact assessments to determine and recommend optimal solutions across our core insurance, workflow, data and automation platforms
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for integration solutions
  • Elicit and document clear business requirements and process flow, ensuring alignment between internal and external parties
  • Contribute to the design of systems, preparing use cases, functional / interface specifications, and other design artefacts
  • Work alongside third-party providers to ensure the scoped solution fully meets the business needs and achieve the envisaged benefits
  • Coordinate internal teams and third parties/vendors to ensure flawless execution
  • Support testing, implementation, and training activities to facilitate seamless delivery of change
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies to achieve successful integration outcomes
  • Provide post-implementation support and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
