The Mission As an Integration Intern at Scalapay, you will play a crucial role in supporting the integration and onboarding of our merchant partners, ensuring smooth processes that comply with our high standards as a regulated payment institution. Collaborating closely with the Sales, Tech, and Operations teams, you will gain valuable experience in the Dynamic World of BNPL. Key Responsibilities Technical Integration Assistance: Work with technical teams to ensure seamless implementation of payment systems on merchant platforms and instore. Merchant Support: Provide operational assistance pre- and post-integration, addressing queries and resolving issues as needed. Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in operational workflows and suggest improvements to optimize processes. Analysis and monitoring: of KPI, orders flow and level of service. You’ll be great for this role if you have: Proficiency with standard tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Database). Very strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks with accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. A positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and eagerness to learn. Fluency in both English and Italian (written and spoken). A Bachelor’s degree or higher title in a relevant field (e.g., IT, Engineering, business or technical disciplines) A Passion for e-commerce, technology, and the digital economy. Nice to Have Previous experience in similar roles. Familiarity with tech tools (jira, AWS, Database Query interfaces) Basic SQL knowledge Proficiency (B2+) with additional languages (e.g., French, Spanish). Prior exposure to startup or scale-up environments. Soft Skills The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. You should be an effective communicator, comfortable working in teams and collaborating with colleagues from different departments.
