What does an Integration Specialist do? The API Integration Specialist is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, development, and implementation of solutions related to third-party application integrations. This role serves as the key liaison between clients and the IT team throughout the integration process. The specialist will collaborate closely with department heads, the business development team, and IT to ensure seamless alignment and coordination across all parties involved.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s or equivalent college degree preferred
• Experience or familiarity with supply chain systems and applications (ERP, TMS, or WMS, and Service Providers)
• API and EDI Integration Experience
• Program and project management experience preferred
• Sales experience preferred
• Ability to lead global, cross-functional teams to achieve goals and objectives

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Data analysis skills

• Lead and coordinate all ALA integrations with third-party applications for both client and corporate initiatives.
• Support the sales team with ALA (TMS) presentations and product demonstrations.
• Ensure timely and high-quality development by creating, communicating, and managing project and feature schedules.
• Design and deliver training programs for new TMS customers.
• Conduct weekly reviews with IT and operations leaders to address issues and execute resolution plans.
• Test ALA applications and validate workflows as needed.
• Develop and maintain the ALA knowledge portal for internal and external use.
• Identify opportunities for productivity improvements and operational enhancements.
• Participate in testing ALA functionalities as required.
• Contribute to user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide actionable feedback.
• Perform other duties as assigned, based on business needs.
