We now have an exciting opportunity available for an Integrity Engineera Pipeline Integrity Engineer to join us in our Engineering & Technical Solutions team in Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Team Leader – Pipeline Integrity, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of APA’s gas pipeline assets. You’ll provide integrity engineering services that support asset performance, compliance with relevant standards and legislation, and alignment with industry best practice. Key Responsibilities Provide pipeline engineering advice including integrity management and cathodic protection. Conduct pipeline integrity assessments and risk evaluations. Support the development and implementation of integrity management plans. Prepare fitness for purpose reports ensuring compliance with AS/NZS standards, regulatory requirements, and APA’s technical standards. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimise asset performance and lifecycle value. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the integrity function. Your background Tertiary engineering qualifications, ideally in mechanical, materials, or chemical engineering. Sound understanding of pipeline integrity principles and corrosion management. Knowledge of AS2885 standards and industry best practices. Ability to interpret technical data and contribute to engineering assessments. Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and stakeholder engagement. Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to learning and collaboration. Commitment to safety, risk awareness, and responsible reporting. Enthusiasm for contributing to national initiatives and continuous improvement.
