Description

Imrandd are seeking an experienced Integrity Engineer to join our operations team in Aberdeen. This position will support the delivery of asset integrity management (AIM) across IMRANDD’s portfolio of offshore projects. The role involves the delivery of integrity management scopes for fixed, floating, and subsea structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
As part of a multi-discipline engineering team, you will report to the senior engineers supporting and leading fitness-for-service (FFS) evaluations, risk assessments, and remediation planning while collaborating with clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in integrity management, topsides pressure systems, corrosion management, or offshore engineering, along with relevant certifications and qualifications.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Integrity Management in addition to engineering degree in Mechanical or appropriate engineering discipline.
  • Chartered engineer status desirable.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas or Energy industries in a role which had a primary technical function requiring the provision of integrity management services preferably with oil/gas terminals, platforms or pipeline systems.
  • Awareness of mechanical, process and pipeline engineering discipline skills.
  • Skilled in the interpretation and application of International, National, Group & Local standards and codes of practice.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Proficient in HSE management principles and its application in company.
  • Knowledge of Regulatory requirements and Industry Guidance & Best Practice.
  • Working knowledge of MS office products.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Thorough knowledge of international codes and standards relevant to the Energy Industry.
  • The ability to work effectively unsupervised, maintaining good work prioritisation and time management across multiple tasks.
  • Has a sound understanding of the safety and commercial impact of engineering decisions on an operated asset.
  • Understanding of corrosion, fatigue, and other integrity threats.
  • Understanding of inspection and NDE methods.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the safe, efficient and effective execution of integrity engineering for specified offshore installations.
  • Deliver as part of a multi-disciplined team integrity management services to clients.
  • The development, application and management of risk-based inspection strategies for topside pressure systems onboard offshore oil/gas assets.
  • Liaise with clients to develop procedures and build a professional working relationship.
  • Carry out Integrity Assessment and update of RBIs.
  • Generate and compile Topside Pressure Systems Integrity Statements and annual integrity reports for each site.
  • Define inspection requirements / work scopes for topside pressure systems.
  • Perform defect assessments, fitness for service and remaining life assessments, as part of the anomaly management process.
  • Prepare technical, progress and management reports as necessary.
