Keystone Human Services is currently seeking a casual (per diem) registered nurse to join our team of professionals in making a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors and the community. The Registered Nurse position assists to provide leadership and guidance to program support teams, contracted providers, and individuals to recognize and care for unique and emerging health care needs for people we serve. This position will work collaboratively with people at various levels of the organization and outside organizations to address the medical needs of the individuals in adherence with Keystone’s mission and in compliance with all regulatory requirements. Requirements: Must possess current and valid RN licensure in Pennsylvania Work experience in the medical field and medical experience working with individuals diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities is strongly preferred. Must have ability to utilize nursing experience and awareness in all aspects of care of the individuals of whom we care for and be able to apply nursing knowledge and sound judgement during the nursing process. Must possess a high degree of independent functioning with minimal direct supervision Strong communication skills with the ability to read, understand, and apply written information. Comfort using computers and learning new software or online systems. Ability to successfully complete required background checks and clearances. A valid driver’s license may be required. Depending on the work location, reliable daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle may also be required.
