JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Consultant with a strong background in Intellectual Property law to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IP-related matters, particularly within an IP-focused law firm. This role involves working closely with clients to protect their intellectual property rights and providing strategic legal advice, including handling all aspects of IP filings and notifications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience working in an IP-focused law firm.
• Strong knowledge of local and international IP laws and regulations.
• Proven track record of handling complex IP cases and providing strategic legal advice.
• Experience in managing IP filings and related notifications.
• Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and research skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and IP management software.

• Assist clients in the registration and protection of their intellectual property rights in various jurisdictions.
• Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of IP matters, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and trade secrets.
• Draft, review, and negotiate IP-related agreements.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex IP issues.
• Prepare and send notices of filing, acceptance, renewal, opposition, and other significant IP-related communications to clients.
• Monitor and manage deadlines for IP filings, renewals, and other critical IP-related actions.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in IP laws and regulations, and advise clients accordingly.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure IP strategy aligns with business objectives.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and reports on IP matters to clients and stakeholders.
