About the Role We are seeking an Intelligence Engineer to serve as the core technical contributor within a cross-functional Squad. This role challenges the traditional "project mindset" by focusing on long-term system viability, stability, and measurable business outcomes rather than just feature delivery. You'll translate business objectives into robust, scalable software solutions while maintaining the highest standards of code quality and system health. Reporting to the Value Steward (Squad's Senior Technical Leader), you'll be accountable for ensuring technical solutions are simple, maintainable, and directly enable your Squad to achieve its assigned Business Outcome KPI. What You’ll Do Write, review, and maintain high-performance, well-tested, and secure code while personally owning all deployed features through Quality Gate and Security Vulnerability Gate compliance Proactively identify and resolve system instability, performance bottlenecks, and technical debt to maintain ≤ 0.2 Bugs per Story Points Delivered Collaborate with Revenue Engineers and Technical Value Steward to translate business problems into the simplest, most scalable technical solutions Design internal APIs and data contracts that ensure data integrity when integrating with the Memory Squad (Central Data Hub) Ensure deployed features are demonstrably the most efficient technical solution for moving the Squad's Business Outcome KPI Actively participate in Squad operating rhythms (Planning, Stand-ups, Work Review) to maximize Time to Value Transition between Squads as organizational priorities evolve, applying consistent technical standards across domains Mentor junior engineers and communicate complex technical trade-offs effectively to non-technical stakeholders What We’re Looking For Experience: 5+ years of progressive software development experience with a proven track record of shipping and maintaining complex, highly available production systems Technical Proficiency: Expert-level skills in C#, Azure, SQL, REST APIs, and Selenium Additional Skills: Strong knowledge of front-end technologies (ReactJS, JavaScript) and database systems (MSSQL) Product Mindset: Deep commitment to prioritizing system health and long-term viability over short-term feature delivery speed Outcome-Driven: Motivated by measurable business outcomes, not activity or task completion Ownership Mentality: Demonstrated ability to own production code end-to-end, including debugging, root cause analysis, and implementing preventative measures Collaboration Excellence: Outstanding communication skills with the ability to articulate technical decisions and trade-offs to diverse stakeholders Adaptability: Comfortable transitioning between squads and domains based on evolving business priorities What Success Looks Like Production Bug Density: Maintaining ≤ 0.2 Bugs per Story Points Delivered through exceptional code quality Feature-to-KPI Traceability: Delivering features that demonstrably move the Squad's assigned Business Outcome KPI System Stability: Achieving high system uptime through proactive identification and resolution of technical issues Quality Gate Compliance: 100% adherence to Quality Gate and Security Vulnerability Gate standards Time to Value: Contributing technical expertise that maximizes squad velocity and minimizes deployment cycles Why Join Us?
