This is an excellent opportunity for doctors looking to build strong Critical Care experience in a supportive environment while living in one of the most beautiful regions in NSW. Role Structure – Critical Care Rotation • ICU – 6 months • Anaesthetics – 3 months • Emergency – 3 months You will gain exposure to a wide range of procedures and clinical scenarios including: • Advanced life support & resuscitation • Arterial / central venous access • Thoracotomy & emergency procedures • Critical care patient management • Multidisciplinary ICU care Hospital is the main acute care hospital for the region, employing over 1,000 staff and providing: • Emergency, medical, surgical & orthopaedic services • ICU with high dependency and coronary care • Children’s Ward and Maternity Unit • Regional Cancer Care Centre • Sub-acute Mental Health Unit The hospital is currently undergoing a $500 million redevelopment, expanding services and facilities.
