MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of interaction design experience in product design or UX Design.
  • Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 year of experience leading design projects.
  • Experience designing for AI-powered systems, automation, or other agentic technologies where building user trust is critical.
  • Experience designing for advertising platforms or other tools or large-scale enterprise products.
  • Track record of using storytelling to articulate design proposals.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Define the user experience strategy for your product area by understanding advertiser needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Partner with teams across Google Ads to understand the broader ecosystem, using that system-level view to inform your design strategy.
  • Translate that strategy into concrete ideas, creating and testing concepts in close partnership with user research and content design.
  • Collaborate as a partner with product managers and engineers to align on a shared goal and make collective decisions.
  • Produce detailed designs and guide the engineering team during development to ensure the final product is built to a high standard of quality.
