INTERACTION DESIGNER, RESPONSIVE WEB & MOBILE APPS:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Interaction Designer, Responsive Web & Mobile Apps for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

INTERACTION DESIGNER, RESPONSIVE WEB & MOBILE APPS - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The project involves enhancing online banking and digital servicing capabilities to empower clients with self-service options that cater to their unique needs. The aim is to simplify online banking products and positively impact user experience.

INTERACTION DESIGNER, RESPONSIVE WEB & MOBILE APPS - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• BA/BS degree in Design, HCI, CS, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
• A minimum of 5 years of Interaction Design experience
• 2+ years’ experience in Responsive Web and Mobile application design
• Experience in an applied research setting integrating user research into product designs
• Demonstrated expertise with Figma design, prototyping, and research tools
• Excellent communication skills, both written & spoken

INTERACTION DESIGNER, RESPONSIVE WEB & MOBILE APPS – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Proficiency in French
• Experience with Mural
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Teamwork orientation
• Understanding of accessibility standards

• Provide design solutions for complex, ambiguous problems
• Collaborate and support the agile team with day-to-day needs
• Support product delivery through planning, assigning, and executing
• Promote and advance design practice within the team
