INTERACTION/VISUAL DESIGNER, MOBILE/WEB APPS – LOYALTY/REWARDS PROGRAM:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Interaction/Visual Designer, Mobile/Web Apps – Loyalty/Rewards Program for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office, increasing to 4 days come September 15.

INTERACTION/VISUAL DESIGNER, MOBILE/WEB APPS – LOYALTY/REWARDS PROGRAM - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Interaction/Visual Designer will lead both interaction and visual design efforts for the bank’s credit card Rewards program, focusing on enhancing user experiences for both the earn and burn sides of the program. The designer will collaborate within an interdisciplinary team using agile methodologies to deliver everyday value to program members.

INTERACTION/VISUAL DESIGNER, MOBILE/WEB APPS – LOYALTY/REWARDS PROGRAM - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • At least 5 years of product design experience, or 7 years in Interaction and Visual design roles.
  • Experience in the retail/ecommerce space.
  • Experience designing Native Mobile Apps and responsive web.
  • Experience in the loyalty/Rewards space.
  • Proficiency with design, prototyping, and collaboration tools such as Figma and Mural.
  • Ability to articulate design strategy and rationale.
  • Usability research experience.

INTERACTION/VISUAL DESIGNER, MOBILE/WEB APPS – LOYALTY/REWARDS PROGRAM – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience with Lean UX.
  • Experience in Agile development environments.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary designer for a dedicated squad, collaborating with a content designer, researcher, and supporting visual designer.
  • Manage day-to-day design needs and deliverables, from concept to final design files.
  • Ensure designs meet accessible design requirements and visual brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team for visual design consistency.
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners including product managers, project managers, business analysts, developers, and quality assurance teams.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies.
