A great UHY client is seeking an Intercompany Accountant to join their team. The Intercompany Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the SSC control environment for accounts receivable transactions.
The Intercompany Accountant role is a hybrid position with 3 days a week in office. This is a client direct hire position.

INTERCOMPANY ACCOUNTANT QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting – or comparable job experience
• 2-year experience within billing or finance /accounting background preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Exceptional proficiency in Excel and Outlook
• Strong understanding of general financial terminology
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects as well as daily operational deadlines.
• Ability to interpret contracts between agencies and clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional attitude and service orientation

• Review AR/AP/Trial balance month end for variances.
• Propose journal entries to the Agency/Shared Service Center for review & approval.
• Review journal entries with appropriate backups.
• Generate and track intercompany balances for multiple agencies.
• Download matching report in Hyperion financial management.
• Partner with agencies and GL for month end close.
• Facilitate and support SOX Compliance testing as well as internal and external audits.
• Always manage respective projects.
• Build strong relationships with the agency teams.
