Description Reports to: Intercompany Forman Job Overview: Measure, cut and bend rebar. Responsibilities and Duties: Utilize all standard operating procedures in relation to measuring, cutting and bending rebar. Ensure that product standards, both as to quality and productivity are met Processing paper work with accuracy and detail Apply all safety measures when working in the shop and with machines/ hand tools Maintain a positive attitude Job Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push and pull 75 lbs Standing for long periods of time Working in all extreme weather while following company weather policies Working long days as needed Working Saturdays as needed Maintain a clean working environment Education: High School Diploma Experience: Maintain and operate cutting torches, stick and wire welding equipment. Ability to read blueprints 3+ years in a relevant area- (Desired) Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Ability to receive/read instructions and implement specific instructions Ability to review prints Strong attention to detail Must be able to take and follow directions Ability to drive a fork truck (not required) General understanding of using and maintaining power tools safely and effectively Requirements DISCLAIMER The above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
