QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• 5+ years of experience in engineering or construction projects, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or industrial sectors.
• Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary interfaces in complex projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, project coordination, and engineering design.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Interface Engineer is responsible for managing and coordinating all technical and non-technical interfaces between various internal disciplines (design, construction, procurement) and external stakeholders (clients, consultants, subcontractors, government authorities) to ensure smooth and timely project execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify, track, and manage interface points across multiple project stakeholders.
• Coordinate between different engineering disciplines to resolve interface issues and conflicts.
• Facilitate regular interface coordination meetings and workshops.
• Maintain the Interface Register, ensuring all interface agreements are up-to-date.
• Collaborate with planning and construction teams to align interface milestones with project schedules.
• Ensure timely communication and documentation of interface requirements.
• Review and validate technical documentation related to interface points.
• Support risk management by identifying interface-related risks and proposing mitigation measures.
• Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and third-party authorities to ensure alignment on interface matters.
• Ensure all interface activities comply with project specifications, codes, and standards.
