REQUIREMENTS & YOUR EXPERTISE

  • Successfully completed an engineering degree
  • Knowledgeable of the specific rules and regulations, e.g. Offshore Codes (BSH; DNVGL), HSE related codes, industry best practices
  • Fluent in English and German is a plus
  • Hybrid work – flexibility required to travel domestically (e.g. Berlin, abroad)
  • Successful candidate must have eligibility to work in the EU, along with the outlined qualifications
Responsibilities

We are looking for an Interface Engineer (m/f/d) to support the Project Management in the coordination of all technical and administrative aspects of project execution during engineering.

Your range of tasks includes but not limited to:

  • Coordinating engineering across sub-packages and other packages in close alignment with Work Package Managers, Discipline Engineers, and the Certification Engineer, ensuring adherence to the project schedule
  • Manage engineering issues promptly to support smooth project execution with minimal disruption
  • Prepare and apply interface management tools to ensure effective planning and management of scope and information exchange
  • Support contract negotiations regarding technical scope and contractor responsibility at interfaces
  • Perform tasks taking into account HSE, QA, consent, certification and technical aspects
  • Aligns work activities and deliverables with defined targets, ensuring compliance with platform requirements
  • Follow the Project Execution Manual and all applicable procedures, including designated forms and templates
  • Use the provided project document control system for all phases of the project
  • Providing technical reports and decision support for the design of cross-package technical issues
  • Create and manage a project-specific interface toolbox from development through commissioning, including the interface matrix, device responsibility plan, and interface issue log
