Setec Middle East for Engineering Consultancy Interface Manager – Saudi Arabia Industry: Engineering Consultancy Experience Required: 15+ years (minimum 5 years in a similar Interface Management role) Region Experience: KSA or GCC is mandatory About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Interface Manager in a major railway proejct to oversee, lead, and coordinate all interface and stakeholder management activities for a the project aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 projects. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in complex infrastructure or railway projects and a strong ability to manage cross-functional technical interfaces, external stakeholders, and multidisciplinary project teams. Key Responsibilities As the Interface Manager, you will be responsible for: A. Interface Management & Coordination Developing and implementing interface management procedures, tools, and systems across all project phases. Ensuring all internal and external project interfaces are identified, monitored, and effectively resolved. Managing interfaces between design, civil, system, testing, and commissioning teams. Leading coordination between system integration teams and civil works to ensure seamless alignment. B. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Establishing strong communication channels with key client stakeholders such as Security, Traffic Management, and land acquisition entities. Coordinating with external authorities such as: Saudi Electric Company National Water Company Local government bodies (Civil Defense, Traffic Police, MOT, Municipality) Ensuring all stakeholders are identified, mapped, and continuously updated for Design and Build (DB) Contractors. C. Technical Oversight & Compliance Auditing interface processes and identifying corrective actions to maintain project momentum. Supporting technical and financial change management discussions with contractors. Overseeing system integration, risk assessments, progress monitoring, and Land Use & Site Coordination Approval (LUSCA) coordination. Participating in Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) Verification & Validation and leading Service Availability Test discussions with D&B teams. D. Reporting & Governance Keeping the Project Manager, Project Director, and client representatives informed of all critical interface issues. Providing timely updates on stakeholder activities, risks, and interface progress. E. Qualifications & Experience To be successful in this role, you should have: 15+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in an Interface Manager or similar role. Strong experience working on major Tram project and infrastructure projects. Prior experience in KSA or GCC projects is essential. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and technical coordination skills. Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams in high-complexity environments.
