REQUIREMENTS & YOUR EXPERTISE

  • At least 2 years of professional experience and comprehensive knowledge in the field of project management.
  • Quality management know-how
  • Fluent in German and English (minimum B2 level)
  • Willingness to travel domestically – this is a remote role but flexibility to travel to Berlin for meetings is required
  • Successful candidate must have eligibility to work in the EU, along with the outlined qualifications
Responsibilities

We are looking for an Interface Manager (m/f/d) to support an exciting HVDC grid connection project for an offshore wind farm, delivered in collaboration with our project partner — a leading German Transmission System Operator. You will be responsible for providing the PMO specific interface services, engaging with work package leads to provide timely, high quality results.

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordination of all aspects of project execution and provision of oversight and coordination of project activities.
  • Coordination work between the sub-packages and other packages in collaboration with the Work Package Managers and Discipline teams.
  • Managing any emerging issues within the area and dealing it with expediently to facilitate project execution with minimal disruption.
  • The preparation and application of interface management tools ensures that the entire scope and information exchange at interfaces is effectively planned and managed.
  • Performing tasks taking into account all relevant HSSE, QA, consent, certification, permit and technical aspects
  • Using the provided project document control system for all phases of the project
  • Identifying critical interface issues and tracking them until resolution of each issue and specifying necessary tasks across project packages
