It is useful to have a system for, for example, eye examinations, but if you cannot share the information with your HIS/EHR, you are not getting the most out of it. As an Integration Specialist, you ensure that our software communicates perfectly with the equipment and systems of other vendors. You identify which connections and interfaces are needed, implement the best solutions, and provide the right advice internally and externally. If there is a bug in a connection, you are able to find and resolve it. Does the connection not exist yet? Then you immediately roll up your sleeves to create it based on HL7v3 CDA, XML, HL7v2, IHE integration profiles, EDIFACT, and various other national and international standards.

• You are the mediator between the software developers at ChipSoft, healthcare institutions, and suppliers of various subsystems (such as Philips, ZorgDomein, and many others).
• In an implementation project, you ensure the complete configuration of connections so that the exchange of incoming and outgoing patient data runs optimally.
• You advise healthcare institutions and end-users regarding the correct use of standards for data exchange. Additionally, you support healthcare institutions with technical questions and problems.
• You translate the wishes of healthcare institutions into concrete solutions by working on new integrations or improving existing connections based on national developments in the healthcare landscape.
