We’re looking for an experienced Interim Procurement Category Manager to lead global sourcing for some of the most business-critical raw materials - including PVC, plasticizers, and yarn fibers. You’ll be managing a global spend of over €100 million across 200+ suppliers and 12 manufacturing sites in Europe.
This is more than a sourcing role - it’s a strategic opportunity to drive value creation, supply resilience, and sustainability across the business. You’ll be a key player in the rollout of a new AI-enabled Source-to-Pay (S2P) platform, supporting a full digital transformation of procurement operations.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Global Category Strategy & Execution

• Define and implement a multi-year sourcing strategy for oil-derived and fiber-based raw materials.
• Identify cost optimization levers, innovation opportunities, and risk mitigation actions.
• Explore and shape hedging strategies to manage volatility and protect margins.
• Align sourcing with sustainability goals - including carbon reduction and circularity.

Supplier & Contract Management

• Manage a diverse global supplier base, including strategic partners with +€500k annual spend.
• Lead key negotiations, establish long-term agreements, and monitor supplier performance.
• Drive supplier-led innovation in materials and product development.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Act as the go-to person for raw material procurement across R&D, Manufacturing, Product Management, and Quality teams.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders across 12 sites in NL, UK, FR, CH, and beyond.

Procurement Digitalization (2026)

• Help implement and shape the adoption of a cutting-edge AI-enabled procurement platform.
• Use advanced analytics and AI agents to track supplier performance and market trends.
• Promote data-driven decisions and enable smarter, faster sourcing processes.
