ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE: Coordinate all aspects of the cooperative education program in accordance with MA Department of Elementary Secondary Education (DESE) guidelines Ensure students, programs, and employers meet DESE regulations and federal requirementsRecruit, screen and approve co-op employers, ensure placements align with students vocational programs, meet safety and labor regulations Complete CORI forms for all employersVisit and preview job sites as needed, assessing potential job placementsOversee application and approval process for eligible students, including review of grades, attendance and teacher recommendations Maintain contact with employers and students placed on co-op. Coordinate placement of students with employers, instructors, students, and familiesPromote career readiness skills with students, including workplace readiness, employability skills and professional conduct Maintain compliance will all school, district and state reporting requirements Collaborate with vocational instructors, guidance counselors and administrators to ensure student success Assist as needed in the Admissions office and with the general administrative duties of the school. Other duties as assigned by the Principal and/or Superintendent-DirectorSALARY: Per individual contract with the Superintendent-Director Range $45 to $50 per Hou
