JOB OVERVIEW

A leading global technology organization is seeking an experienced Employee Relations & Compliance Interim Support professional. This role requires extensive expertise in employee and labor relations, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to navigate complex workplace matters. The position will work closely with HR Business Partners, leadership, and legal counsel to resolve employee relations issues, ensure compliance with employment regulations, and support critical business needs. You will support all of North America and need to have exposure to state by state compliance for terminations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in employee relations, compliance, or related HR roles.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and their practical application.
  • Excellent consultative, counseling, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders and tailor messaging to different audiences.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement employee relations policies and programs to enhance workplace culture.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, providing guidance on conflict management and resolution.
  • Oversee FMLA processes, ensuring compliance with employment and labor laws.
  • Manage talent acquisition efforts, including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to design organizational structures that support strategic objectives.
  • Conduct performance management processes, including employee evaluations and feedback sessions.
  • Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Administer benefits programs and ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Utilize HRIS systems such as Workday, Oracle HCM, or ADP for data collection and analysis.
  • Lead change management initiatives to improve HR processes and employee engagement.
  • Prepare presentations for senior leadership on HR metrics, program effectiveness, and strategic planning.
