Description

We are seeking a Finance Manager on an interim basis for 3–4 months to support financial operations, reporting, and business decision-making.
This is a hands-on role offering exposure across a variety of finance functions, including management accounts, compliance, audit, and operational finance.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Ideally fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or working towards qualification
  • Minimum 3 years’ finance experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards (UK GAAP / IFRS)
  • Experience with month-end processes, reconciliations, and VAT
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review management accounts with variance analysis and commentary
  • Process journals, including payroll, accruals, and prepayments
  • Maintain fixed asset records and submit necessary reconciliations
  • Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations (Bank, Payroll, Debtors, Creditors, etc.)
  • Monitor and resolve customer and supplier claims
  • Ensure accurate supplier reconciliations and report discrepancies
  • Support audit preparation and provide financial data to auditors
  • Assist with statutory reporting and tax computations
  • Complete required financial surveys and filings
