Description

THE TEAM

Our finance team is made up of 6 people in the UK, with additional transactional support on the ground in our Houston office. We have one finance team that looks after all things finance - from invoicing and credit control through to all month end and year end processes, reconciliations, budgets and forecasting, consolidation, tax and external and board reporting. The finance team also has significant involvement in project work.
Within the UK team we have three excellent and experienced transactional professionals who take care of our billing, credit control and accounts payable processes as well as day-to-day customer queries.
We also have a qualified group accountant and a qualified finance manager within the UK finance team who support this role to look after everything else. It’s a hugely varied role that gives exposure to a breadth of finance responsibilities and offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, fast-growing, multi-currency environment.
Continuous improvement is a key focus for our team and we have implemented best-in-class finance systems to help us to work efficiently and effectively. We are currently using systems such as NetSuite, Adaptive Planning and Budgeting, Payfit and Payhawk and we’re always looking to improve the tools we use and the way we use them. We also use our own productivity tool, Workiro, which we think is pretty great.
Our goal is to work at our best, add maximum value to the business and enjoy what we do. Our business is changing all the time, and the right person for this role will be excited by the challenges and opportunities this generates.
This role will report to the VP of Finance and Operations and you’ll also interact regularly with our CFO. The finance team also interacts regularly with many of the other teams around the business.
