INTERIM HSE ADVISOR – 3-MONTH CONTRACT – C£40–45K P.A.

We’re working with a pioneering clean technology company in Guildford, a recognised leader in hydrogen fuel cell innovation. As the business continues to grow and evolve, they’re seeking an Interim HSE Advisor to provide hands-on support over a key 3-month period. You’ll play an important role in maintaining and promoting a strong health, safety, and environmental culture, working closely with the existing EHS Manager.

• Conducting risk assessments and recommending practical measures to minimise risks
• Developing and updating safe working procedures across key operational areas
• Carrying out regular site inspections and audits to ensure best practices are being followed
• Ensuring full compliance with current HSE legislation and internal policies
• Keeping accurate records and producing actionable reports with clear recommendations
• Investigating incidents/near misses and compiling statistical insights for leadership teams
• Overseeing safe installation of equipment and ensuring procedures are in place
• Supporting safe handling and disposal of hazardous substances (e.g. asbestos)
• Providing advice on specialist areas such as fire safety, noise control, hazardous materials, and machinery safeguarding
