Vanguard, a globally respected leader in asset management, is seeking a Marketing Specialist Financial Promotions to join their London-based team on a three-month contract. What you’ll do:

  • Manage and execute the business approvals process for a broad spectrum of marketing materials including adverts, emails, articles, brochures, social media posts, videos, presentations, and event collateral to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure all marketing communications strictly adhere to relevant regulatory standards as well as Vanguard’s internal compliance requirements before submission to Compliance for final review.
  • Collaborate closely with Compliance and Financial Promotions teams to optimise approval workflows by identifying bottlenecks and implementing best practices for documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to educate and upskill the wider marketing team on financial promotions rules by developing engaging training sessions and resources.
  • Review existing training materials regularly to ensure they reflect current regulatory expectations and industry developments.
  • Support additional strategic projects aimed at improving operational efficiency within the Marketing function by providing insights into process enhancements.
  • Act as a dependable point of contact for stakeholders seeking guidance on financial promotions regulations or approval processes.
  • Maintain meticulous records of approvals, feedback, and changes to ensure transparency throughout the business approvals process.
  • Proactively monitor regulatory updates affecting financial promotions to keep internal policies aligned with external requirements.

What you bring:

  • Demonstrated understanding of Financial Promotions regulations within asset management or related financial services sectors is essential for success in this position.
  • Previous experience working in a marketing approvals, compliance, or financial promotions capacity where accuracy and adherence to standards were paramount.
  • Exceptional attention to detail combined with a commitment to maintaining high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills enabling you to explain complex regulatory concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
