The Role: Interim Talent Partner – Public Appointments (Board-Level Recruitment)
Contract Type: Full-Time | Fixed-Term (9 months)
Location: Hybrid (London-based, with flexibility for in-person meetings)

We are seeking an experienced Interim Talent Acquisition Partner to lead and support the recruitment of senior public and board-level appointments for a prominent UK public body. This high-impact role requires a strategic recruitment professional with a strong track record in managing senior hiring within complex, regulated environments.
The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of UK public sector recruitment protocols, including governance, transparency, and compliance expectations. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and government departments, handling sensitive assignments with discretion, integrity, and political awareness.
This is a pivotal opportunity to influence leadership at the highest level of public service, ensuring the appointment of individuals who reflect the values and responsibilities of the organisation

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Proven track record in senior-level recruitment, particularly within the public or not-for-profit sectors.
  • Strong understanding and experience of public appointments processes and governance.
  • Experience working with or within government departments or arms-length bodies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and discretion in handling sensitive information.
