Description We are seeking a 1st - 8th grade Interim Technology Teacher & Integrator for our Hoboken Campus. This is an interim full-time assignment with a contract duration from August 31, 2026 through November 30, 2026 with a possibility of extension through December 31, 2026. Standard work hours, benefits, and paid time off as per the Faculty/Staff Handbook. Reports to: Hoboken Principal \The Candidate You have knowledge and experience with the use of a wide range of digital tools, media and learning environments for teaching, learning and assessing for a wide range of ages. You can identify appropriate technology to meet particular pedagogical needs. You have experience with and knowledge of curriculum development and you have strong classroom management and pedagogy skills. You are a detailed-oriented team player with strong communication, organizational and strong interpersonal skills. You are competent in the use of Chromebooks, Mac OS, Microsoft Windows, Android tablets, and Promethean panels and you have a basic understanding of networking and cross-platform computer and mobile device troubleshooting. You bring creativity and a collaborative approach to your craft. You model a spirit of collaboration and inquiry which inspires your students to “explore, question and communicate in ways that will shape the future.” You are culturally competent with effective organizational and classroom management skills. You have the strong verbal and written communication skills necessary to develop interpersonal relationships with faculty, parents, and students. You have a passion for teaching and fostering student engagement in learning with and through educational technology. You demonstrate flexibility and resourcefulness and are motivated to grow and collaborate with others. Primary Responsibilities Deliver an existing technology education program involving demonstrations, student-led discussions, hands-on activities, and direct application of skills consistent with the school’s technology curriculum; organize activities for optimal learning for a range of age levels. Instruct students in the age-appropriate proper use, care and safe handling of equipment in alignment with our Responsible Use of Technology Policy. Monitor student progress and maintain relevant evidence of student learning. Evaluate the growth of students in their understanding and use of technology with regard to knowledge, skills and attitude and prepare reports. Meet regularly with the campus principal to set goals for working with teachers on technology integration. Work with and support teachers on upcoming projects in order to suggest ways that technology might be integrated. Coach and assist teachers as they use new technologies in their classrooms. Troubleshoot, resolve, or escalate technical issues with students and teachers when needed with assistance from the Director of IT. Communicate with parents and appropriate school personnel on student progress. Participate in faculty committees and other required duties. Work effectively with all members of the staff. Exhibit an outstanding level of teacher support and collaborative spirit. Provide audio/visual setup & support for school events and ongoing support for classroom a/v installations. Maintain equipment checkout/inventory system and assist Director of IT in managing staff and student accounts. Summer responsibilities: Collect equipment from departing teachers, inventory classrooms, designate items to be recycled, review technology processes with new teachers, update returning teachers to new developments, and organize classroom Chromebooks. Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field, Masters preferred Minimum of three (3) years of classroom experience Salary & Benefits Salary is commensurate with experience and prorated based on an annual range of $49,000 to $72,000. Responsibilities
