Nutritious Lifestyles® is seeking a consultant with great enthusiasm to become our Interim Traveling Certified Dietary Manager for the Florida Region. We provide full-service travel coordination and offer on the job training but will need someone who can start performing from day one. We have been providing premier nutrition and foodservice since 1986 across continuum health care and food service industries.   Job Purpose: To provide interim coverage relating to Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) work scope during a determined or short period of time at multiple locations throughout the year or when needed.   Job Description: * Effectively manage/oversee the Foodservice environment in LTC/Hospital settings. * Supervise, manage and train our staff. * Document nutritional screening data in the medical records and complete forms. * Develop and implement menus that meet individual nutritional needs in accordance with national guidelines * Supervise preparations and serving of therapeutic diets and nutritional supplements. * Manage equipment use and maintenance. * Develop work schedules, prepare work assignments complying within budgets. * Comply with federal and state regulations related to effective food nutrition services, being survey ready within faculty. * Provide support and guidance to the interdisciplinary team for the benefit of the resident. * Conduct QA audits and sanitation reports to follow established standards.   Requirements: * Completion of a 2 or 4-year college degree in foodservice management, nutrition, culinary arts or hotel-restaurant management. If the degree is not in this area must have 5 years of full-time non-commercial food service management experience required or Graduated from ANFP-approved foodservice manager training program.
