Job Description
We are looking for an Interior Design Engineer for the aeronautical sector.
You will be responsible for the design and integration of aircraft interiors, in compliance with aesthetic, technical and regulatory requirements.
- Aircraft configuration to ensure the customer specifications are respected such as design and integrate interior fittings (seating, panels, lighting, etc.), optimizing space and comfort.
- Prepare all necessary documents to support the interior and structural modification of aircraft such as detail, assembly and installation drawings, specification documents and substantiation reports.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure design integration.
- Supervise the manufacture of prototypes and validate their conformity.
- Select materials in compliance with aeronautical standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- More than 4 years of experience working in the aircraft industry
- Experience working with CAD Software(e.g. Catia V5/Enovia/Solidworks)
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to change
- Ability to understand complex engineering issues
