Description EwingCole is a nationally recognized architecture, engineering, interior design and planning firm with offices across the country. Our multi-disciplinary practice is built on the core values of professional excellence, design quality and collaboration. We are seeking a part-time Interior Design Intern to join our New York for the Spring of 2026. The Interior Designer Intern position supports the interior design effort on projects. You will be assigned tasks that will help you become educated and familiar with the materials and resources that are available to the A&D community. You will also become involved with manufacturer’s representative relationships, as well as the organization and workings of a design firm. This internship will offer knowledge of all aspects of design; will develop resource library knowledge, material research, documentation, rendering, presentation, and field experience. Essential Functions: Resource library maintenance and updating. Arrange appointments and meet with manufacturers’ representatives. Keep library materials and information current; remove discontinued, outdated information and samples. Resource database maintenance. Update changes in a product and contact information for manufacturers on the EwingCole Portal. Providing technical information on materials and furnishings to all staff. Scheduling vendor lunches and other events. Maintain a calendar of lunchtime seminars and department meetings (also manufacturers’ representative appointments) and notify interior designers and other appropriate staff of these events. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested. Requirements Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master's degree program in Interior Design General knowledge of Revit and Adobe Suite Some experience with 3D Modeling software such as Rhino and SkecthUp Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Understanding of color theory and its practical application Understanding of interior architectural detailing Understanding of finish materials and their application Please submit a PDF of your portfolio to be considered.
