JOB DESCRIPTION:

As an Interior Designer at ArkCo, you will collaborate with our design and construction teams to conceptualize, plan, and execute innovative and functional interior spaces. You will be responsible for creating designs that meet client needs, project budgets, and timelines while maintaining adherence to regulatory and compliance standards. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with excellent communication and organizational skills, a strong design portfolio, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in commercial interior design projects.
  • Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, and finishes.
  • Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite and Programa
  • Familiarity with NYC building codes and ADA compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Bi-lingual: English and Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible Schedule: Ability to work some evenings and weekends.
