Lead Interior Designer
Hello!!! Looking for someone outgoing and energetic to join our team and to help oversee design projects that we are working on. We do have a store front so we need someone to be willing to work in store. this Job would be a Tuesday to Saturday position. Looking for someone with a retail background or CAD design.
- Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, needs, and budget constraints
- Create and present design concepts and mood boards to clients
- Develop detailed design plans, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings
- Select and source furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes for each project
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure the successful execution of design projects
- Oversee the installation and implementation of design elements
- Provide ongoing support and communication with clients throughout the design process
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
- Proficiency in CAD software for creating detailed floor plans and elevations
- Experience using Bluebeam for document management and collaboration
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for creating visual presentations and mood boards
- Strong knowledge of design principles, color theory, and space planning
- Experience in budgeting and cost estimation for interior design projects
- Knowledge of lighting design principles and ability to create lighting plans
- Project management skills to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in both residential and commercial interior design projects
- Strong sales skills to effectively communicate with clients and sell design concepts
- Knowledge of remodeling processes and ability to work with existing structures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
