JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles and have a passion for transforming spaces into aesthetically pleasing and functional environments. This role requires proficiency in various design software and tools, as well as excellent project management skills to oversee projects from conception to completion.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, Revit, 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, Bluebeam, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of drafting techniques and CAD applications.
• Knowledge of construction processes, renovation practices, and budgeting for projects.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
• A keen eye for detail along with creativity in problem-solving within design constraints.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for interior spaces.
• Develop design concepts and present them using tools such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Create detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for interior design projects.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other professionals involved in the renovation or construction process.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
• Utilize color theory and lighting design principles to enhance the overall aesthetic of spaces.
• Prepare contracts and manage sales related to lighting products or other design elements.
