Prime Custom Kitchen & Bath is seeking a creative and client-focused Interior Designer to join our growing team. This is an exciting commission-based freelance opportunity for designers who thrive on building client relationships and bringing remodeling projects to life. You will collaborate with homeowners on kitchen, bath, and whole-home remodeling projects, transforming their vision into stunning, functional spaces.
This role is ideal for entrepreneurial designers who prefer flexible hours, high earning potential, and the chance to transition into a full-time salaried position as our partnership grows.

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in design software (CAD, 2020, SketchUp; Adobe Creative Suite a plus).
• Strong knowledge of residential remodeling processes and materials.
• Excellent communication and client presentation skills.
• Ability to balance creativity with functionality and budget.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Previous experience in kitchen & bath design highly preferred.

• Meet with clients in our showroom and at their homes to discuss design needs, preferences, and budget.
• Visit client homes for measurements, design sessions, and site evaluations.
• Develop design concepts, floor plans, and presentations using CAD, 2020, and/or SketchUp.
• Create 3D renderings and visualizations to communicate design ideas.
• Specify finishes, fixtures, cabinetry, and materials for remodeling projects.
• Present design proposals and revisions to clients.
• Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and the project management team to ensure design integrity during construction.
• Conduct site visits during construction to confirm adherence to design.
• Stay updated on industry trends and materials to continuously elevate client offerings.
