We’re Hiring: Interior Designer cum AutoCAD Draftsman
Industry: Interior Design / Joinery / Fit-Out
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer cum AutoCAD Draftsman with a strong background in joinery and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing creative design concepts, producing technical drawings, and coordinating with various stakeholders to bring high-end interiors to life. You will play a key role in the execution of custom-made furniture, cabinetry, and full turnkey fit-out works.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in interior design and drafting, with a strong focus on joinery and fit-out projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design/drafting software. Knowledge of 3ds Max, V-Ray, or Revit is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and joinery details.
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Develop interior design concepts and space planning based on client requirements.
• Create detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and joinery details using AutoCAD and other design tools.
• Prepare presentations, mood boards, material boards, and 3D visualizations when required.
• Coordinate closely with the production and site teams to ensure design accuracy and project execution.
• Take accurate site measurements and prepare as-built drawings.
• Ensure all designs are compliant with applicable regulations, safety standards, and project specifications.
• Participate in client meetings and design presentations.
• Assist in material selection and prepare BOQs in coordination with the procurement team.
• Work with project managers to meet timelines and deliverables.
