Description Interior Designer II supports the design and execution of interior spaces under the guidance of senior designers or project managers. This role involves assisting in the development of design concepts, preparing presentations, producing drawings and specifications, and coordinating with vendors and contractors. Interior Designer applies foundational knowledge of design principles, materials, and building codes to contribute to projects that align with client needs and company standards. Job Responsibilities Programming, space planning, design of spaces and finishes, FF&E selection, documentation, editing specifications, producing deliverable drawing sets for finish plans, interior elevations, room finish schedules, furniture plans, and interior details. Independently performs modeling and detailing or documentation. Independently perform cross-discipline discussions and coordination with multidisciplinary teammates. Conduct site investigations and observations relative to existing building assessments/investigations, client meetings, or construction jobsite observations Prepare narratives, design presentations, boards, drawing and specification documents in accordance with a high degree of quality, working within project schedule and budget constraints. Assisting with marketing /business development activities. Attend client and internal meetings. Conduct presentations. Requirements Required Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in Interior Design or Architecture. 3 - 5 years of experience Interior Design Preferred Education & Experience Master’s degree in interior design or architecture NCDIQ certification Proficiency with computer software including AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-Up, Rhino, Grasshopper, and Adobe Creative Suite Good communication and presentation skills Salary range for this position varies between $70,000 – $100,000, depending upon applicable experience.
