The Interior Designer develops functional and aesthetic designs for residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces, translating client needs and brand objectives into detailed plans that enhance user experience while meeting budgetary and regulatory constraints. Key Responsibilities · Conceptualize space plans, select materials, colors, lighting, and furnishings; present concepts to clients and stakeholders. · Develop timelines, budgets, and resource allocations; monitor progress and adjust plans to meet deadlines and cost targets. · Conduct site visits, gather feedback, negotiate revisions, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. · Mentor junior designers, assign tasks, review work quality, and facilitate professional growth. · Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage delivery schedules. · Verify adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards (e.g., LEED). · Prepare detailed drawings, specification sheets, and status reports for internal use and client approval. · Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or related field. · Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in professional interior design · Proficiency in industry software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite). · Strong understanding of building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainable design practices.
